WHAT: Are you an American living in Germany? Do you want to learn more about expat investment strategies to avoid the tax pitfalls? Then this webinar is for you.

WHEN: Thursday, October 7 at 6:30 pm

COST: None

OUR SPEAKER: Roger Healy from the International Division of Creative Planning (formerly Thun Financial) will be sharing investment information specifically for Americans living in Germany with Q&A on October 7 from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.

Successful investing for Americans abroad has been complicated in recent years by the introduction of stringent cross-border tax and reporting rules, epitomized by FATCA. This webinar provides detailed analysis of the challenges facing American expats and puts forth an approach to efficient, compliant, long-term wealth management and financial planning for US expats in Germany.

• Investing strategies and asset allocation in the cross-border environment

• Avoiding US PFICs tax trap

• Dealing with US and German account restrictions for Americans

• Use of retirement accounts in the US and Germany

• Interaction between the US and German tax codes

• Currency management

This webinar is a special session set up by Cheryl H. for FAWCO Clubs based in Germany. Feel free to ask Roger anything either live or in the chat box. We will also be offering a separate Estate Planning webinar in the new year for the American Women’s Clubs based in Germany.
