WHAT:  AIWCD online Karneval Altweiber's tag - dress up and take the German Quiz

Instead of storming the Rathaus we invite all of our members to virtually celebrate Karneval with us!

This special German Culture session in English, hosted by Anke Gärtner and moderated by Karen Van Antwerp will discuss Düsseldorf, Helau! You don't need to know German to participate!

The session will include an interactive Carnival quiz, discussion about Carnival as well as a short film. Learn about the different customs and traditions around this special celebration. What's the special food on these days and why? What are all these Carnival days called? Make SURE to dress up!

DRESS UP in the carnival theme with guests wearing funny hats, bright colored wigs, dressing in happy BRIGHT COLORS, even try to wear Carnival makeup. WHY NOT? Bring your kids, hubby, dog, cat, goldfish and let's have a great time! Make yourself comfortable and enjoy this online Karneval session. Are you ready to have a good time? Please join us!

CANCELLATION POLICY:  For events paid through the AIWCD, cancellations prior to the cancellation date will be assessed a 25% cancellation fee, and cancellations after this date will be handled according to the AIWCD Cancellation Policy. PHOTOGRAPHY POLICY: Anyone attending an AIWCD event should be aware that photographs and/or recordings may be taken. This media will be used in accordance with the AIWCD Privacy Policy and the GDPR. If you prefer not to have your likeness used for Club publications, please inform those people taking pictures at the event and do not take part in group photos.

COVID-19 SAFETY: If you choose to participate in this AIWCD activity, you will be required to abide by all local COVID-19 restrictions, including social distancing and wearing masks.

DATA SHARING: Your registration information will be shared with AIWCD administrators and event organizers. Your registration information may also be shared with the venue, when required. If you have any questions, contact our Data Protection Officer.
